Our house is located in Vandans, an enchanting village that nestles in the picturesque landscape of the Rätikon. Vandans’ very central location boasts a beautiful view of the Montafon mountains and can be easily reached at any time of year. It’s only about 6 minutes on foot to the centre of town and there is a bus station right around the corner of our house.

Multiple marked hiking, mountainbiking and touring tracks lead directly from our house into the heart of many nature reserves, across gloriously colourful Alpine pastures and past impressive mountain backdrops and imposing peaks. Pure tobogganing pleasure is also promised by the challenging 3 km natural toboggan run as well as the first alpine coaster in Vorarlberg.

Various sports facilities, open air pools and catering services can be found in the towncentre of Vandans (the hotel »Klein Tirol«, which offers delicious authentic food, is conveniently located next door). The station at the bottom of the Golmerbahn terminal, where free parking is also available, can be reached in ca. 3 minutes by car.
